Cozy Corner Cafe started as a dream shared by two Portland natives, Amelia Hayes and Samuel Chen. Having traveled extensively throughout Europe, they were inspired by the small, intimate cafes that served as the heart of their communities. They envisioned a similar space in their beloved Portland – a place where friends could meet, families could relax, and individuals could find a moment of peace amidst the bustling city.

In 2018, that dream became a reality. We carefully selected a location in the vibrant Hawthorne District, known for its artistic flair and community spirit. Our cafe is designed to be welcoming and comfortable, with plush seating, warm lighting, and local art adorning the walls. We strive to create an atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

We are committed to using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our coffee beans are roasted in small batches by a local Portland roaster, ensuring a rich and flavorful cup every time. Our pastries are baked fresh daily using traditional recipes and high-quality butter. We also offer a selection of savory sandwiches and salads, perfect for a light lunch or afternoon snack.

Beyond the food and drinks, we believe in giving back to the community. We partner with local organizations to support their efforts and host regular events at the cafe, from open mic nights to art exhibitions.
